Transfer from BT to Plusnet

I took out a 12 month contract with BT on January 17th 2017 and I paid up the contract in full in December 2017 by Direct Debit until the end of the contract which ended on the 17th January 2018.
BT say I cancelled the contract early on 23rd December by asking Plusnet to transfer the contract on the 17th January 2018.
Even though it was fully paid up until the transfer date in advance.
The contract transferred to Plusnet on 17th January 2018 and was with BT to this point.
BT have charged me £76.09 for cancelling early even though I was connected to them until the end of my years contract.
This does not seem right!

Your contract didn't "end" on 17/1/18, you were in a contract that had a minimum period, but carried on till ended in line with the ts + cs
Ask them to itemise the £76 and take it from their reply0 -
What is ts + cs0

Finally sorted! Indian Call Centre basically said tough bill was correct! Rung again and got Dublin Call centre this time. Once I explained the problem (being charged for router, line rental refund/recharge, call refund/recharge) even though I had fulfilled my contract they refunded me blaming it on a computer error.0

Hi, I noticed your thread on the forum and wondered how it's going with Plusnet ? I am considering changing from BT to Plusnet at the end of this month when my contract ends, and any feedback would be helpful. Thanks0
