Blue Badge PCN with Horizon at Sainsburys

Toyboyroy, you would be wise to remove or disguise your Sainsburys Case Number.
There are mischievous people about who might think of using it the wrong way - especially as you have given them a phone number to ring too.
Thankyou, Wasn`t thinking, I haven`t given them a telephone number as yet but I assume that is the next step and see what they come back with. At least they have acknowledged the email.0 -
For future reference, my position is that if no Blue Badge was showing, then there is a case for a warden to issue a ticket as, after all, he is protecting the bays for genuine disabled drivers and at the time, had no way of knowing you had a BB.
However, once the supermarket/landowner has been made aware of the BB and circumstances why it wasn't visible, then the onus is on them to recognise your disability and to take steps to get the charge cancelled.
I would use that theme in any situation where the loacl manager won't step in and act when appealing over his/her head to head office.0 -

The General manager of the local store must have been having a bad day or something because one of his replies was " There are people coming in here all the time with their excuses, I have more important things to do".
If proof of disability is needed then hospital records can be obtained, or a letter from the Specialist.0 -
He has breached the Equality Act 2010. Failure to make reasonable adjustments. Keep going!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

What a very bad general manager, plenty more
people would love his job.
If he has people telling him all the time, alarm bells
will ring with a good general manager ?
As they say .... "if the water is too hot ... get out"0 -
Update.
Craig Swash of Sainsburys who is dealing with the case telephoned Brian ( My wifes uncle) and apologised, he also said that he believed that Brian was telling the truth and he is in the process of squashing the case and for me to Email Sainsburys with a scan of the PCN document.
So I believe you all can give yourself a pat on the back for excellent advice and chalk one up for the motorist against private parking charges.
Brian and myself thankyou all very much.0 -

Why would the above be necessary if Sainsburys has already agreed to squash the case.???0 -
in order to show the attitude of there manager and ensure it does not happen again
his attitude to the equality act stinks , and he should be sacked
If proof of disability is needed then hospital records can be obtained, or a letter from the Specialist."
that should be published in the press and sent to the correct authorities
had it have been a B+Q , "decking" would have been in orderSave a Rachael
