Just found a bank book for an account opened for me when I was very little for a bank that no longer exists. I'm hoping I can work out how to get the money back from thishopefully it would have lots of interest on it and be a nice little amount to go towards my debts!:rotfl:

Good news Meyore about the undiscovered bank account!

hope you do better than me £10 invested in the Post Office in 1962  yielded a total of £14.86 30 years later :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
But the book was sweet, it had 3 columns for pounds, shillings and pence, and all hand written entries.

I found a post office one about 3 years back, it had been 15 years since anyone had touched it and the money had trebled! I don't hold out much hope for this one though but its worth a try.

My mum has some woolwich shares she still needs to claim so I'm going to attempt to help her with this as its got to be around £500. Lucky lady!

I know i've still got a Post Office account, but I can't find the book! Think I will have to get the forms off t'internet and send them off....only problem is that I've moved about 5 times since I can last remember seeing it and they want all the old addresses!
