    Good Evening Diary,
Happy New Year all, hope youve had a lovely break. I have literally spent the majority of the holidays doing absolutely nothing! Would really like it to carry on tbh!!!! No such luck as back to work tomorrow.
Had 1 NSD so far this month, should get a good few this next week.
I took the girls to spend some of their Christmas money today. The shopping centre was absolutely dead! They bought some things and I got a couple of things too, nothing too exciting.
Ive organised my lunch for tomorrow and had a pamper so im all ready now. See how long before I get the bedraggled look back haha!!!!
    Hope all ok xx

Happy New Year to you 🥳 Hope you enjoy getting back to work, I’m back tomorrow too. Part of me not bothered as I like a routine if I’m honest.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

    Evening Diary,
Wow what a crazy 48 hours! Its business as usual for me tbh, still working in school and we have around a 1/4 of our children coming in. The girls are still at home working. They would be eligible to go to school but just going to see how it goes for now as id rather let someone who needs the space more have it. As long as theyre attending and completing their online lessons we will be ok and it keeps the risk lower for us.
Had a NSD yesterday (2) but spent £15 in Mr Al's topping up on fruit and snacks for the girls. They ate 3 days worth of lunches yesterday :open_mouth: I was not best pleased with them!
    Hope everyones ok xx

  • Evening Diary,
Well its been all change since I last posted! The girls have ended up going into school as there is just not the room in the house to be working alongside each other in seperate lessons. They had desks at the old house, where as we havent got any that here. They could sit at the table but it wasn't working and they actually asked to go to school! Theyve enjoyed it, even though theyve been the only ones some days ha!!! Then of course we had the snow Friday which threw more spanners into the mix. Hope next week is a bit calmer that last!
I have not stopped today, just thinking about what ive done is making me tired!
I finally put the decorations away, washed and ironed 3 loads of washing, washed my bedding, cleaned the bathroom, cleaned the bedrooms, cleaned the living room, wrapped some of DD's birthday presents and descaled the kettle!
Spent 2 hours making soup for work, curry and samosas for tea and preparing tomorrow nights tea.
Finally sat down about 7.30 and soaked my shellac on my nails, ordered DD's birthday cards and a couple of little presents for her. Quite tired now but who's betting I won't be able to sleep!
    Yesterday was NSD5.
    Happy Sunday all!!!!! xx

  • I’m knackered reading that. Are you having to go into work or can you work from home?

    Good Evening Diary,
I am absolutely shattered tonight! This morning was absolutely crazy at work with the launch of online learning. The amount of telephone calls we received aswell as parents calling in for stationery packs was just out of this world. Ill definitely sleep well tonight. Just waiting for the girls to finish washing up before I jump in the shower and chill out for the evening.
Thanks Beanie, im glad I got lots done yesterday, makes during the week easier.
DFOD, no we are all in this time as weve got lots more children than last time.
So today is NSD6 which I am pleased with! Will end up spending some money over the next couple of days as I need some chicken.
Ive been on track with my meals today. Had weetabix, a banana, broccoli and cheddar soup, steak and ale pie with mushy peas, carrots and leeks.
Think thats all to report! xx

    Evening Diary,
Hope all ok! I was fast asleep for about 9.30 last night. I don't feel as tired today but ill still try and get an early night.
So today was all geared up for NSD7... until I took DD1 to the opticians for her routine eye appointment. New glasses needed and shes now in the adult ones! Had to pay towards as she gets £84 towards and then paid for anti-glare too. Im not a glasses wearer so have no experience but thought it was wise given all the online work shes doing. £34 in total which isnt too bad but unbudgeted as I didnt know id have to pay just yet!!!
Tomorrow will also be a spend day as we need milk and collect an order from the butchers too.
Had a good run with the food too:
porridge, broccoli and cheddar soup, an orange, beef stew, peas, parsnips and carrots and a breakaway.
Think thats all from me xx
