Ooooh good news that you went on a date and liked him, I hope it progresses in the best possible way
.
Glad that things are going well generally. I guess what's going on is bound to be unsettling for your girls, but they have you as a rock to support them so I'm sure they'll be fine. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Glad you had a nice time on the date
Being a mum to one of each I can say that girls are definitely worse when they're growing up. They've gone through an unsettling time though so it must be hard for them.

Evening Diary,
Wow another 2 weeks has gone by since I last posted... life is crazy busy at the moment.
So had another couple of Friday dates with the guy and were getting on well. Really pleased to have met him but still very early days so will just enjoy it for now.
So ex is playing silly beggars... he gave me £163 less this month as legally this is all he has to give me! Morally he should be contributing to the girls activities separately as they are very expensive. Anyhow there is nothing I can do for now so making sure he doesn't get to me and spoil my happy mood.
DDs have friends over tonight for a very belated birthday sleepover for DD2. Taking them trampolining tomorrow afternoon, tickets booked using a 20% off discount.
Right I think thats all from me. I hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
As someone who has been there, it isent down to morals.
As long as he pays what he legally has to thats basically as good as it gets.

Sorry DH isn't paying as much as he should be. Men can be very selfish in this type of situation.
I'm glad your dates are going well but I think you're right to take it slowly.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Glad you're ok MTG. Ex is being selfish but as long as he's paying what he has to by law you won't be able to do a lot about anything else on top. Enjoy your dates but don't rush into anything just yetI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Good Evening Diary,
Beanie, HHOD and SA thank you for your replies. I totally know that I can't do anything about it which is why I mentioned that in my post. I am totally scrimping by to ensure my girls don't miss out any further just because he is being an @rse. I am not letting him continue to try and destroy my happiness either as this is what he wants!
So nothing too much to report... today has been a NSD! Need to tally up my NSD for January to see if I hit my target of 10.
Thats about all really! Hope all ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
I'm glad you're not letting him make you unhappy, that's the spirit :T. Your girls are lucky to have one unselfish parent who is putting them first
