Afternoon Diary,
Sorry I've been awol life just continues to get in the way.
So still no further forward with the house situation as ex wants to get a consent order for the money (which is a sensible option). Only thing is in order to do this you need to be at decree nisi stage of divorce. I have sent off the paperwork on Friday and will await the next stages now. Im also considering selling the house and downsizing as as much as I love this house it is expensive to run and it would make sense to start afresh in something smaller.
In the meantime the girls and I are budgeting but enjoying ourselves.
DD1 isn't very well, had her to the doctors this morning but they've said its just viral. DD2 is with ex for the afternoon although she wasn't thrilled at the prospect of another dog walk along the moors!
Had to remind ex this morning when he was complaining of having no money that he chose this path and that he needs to just get on with it! They have 4 times a much as I earn coming into their house so they need to just stop whinging as if he's struggling, how does he think I'm getting on!
The new man is going well, the girls have met him and they all get on very well. He is very good to me and we enjoy our time together
.
Ive been selling a few things on 3bay... sold some Ugg boots which ex bought me which I never liked so wore about 5 times! May aswell rather than just having them in the wardrobe gathering dust.
I hope everyone is ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
I'm glad things are going well for you MTG
. You sound so positive, unlike your ex who sounds like a bit of a whinger!
I hope the divorce comes through soon so you can sort out the house. Maybe downsizing would be best to make things more affordable, but make sure you like wherever you live (including the neighbourhood).
I hope DD feels better soon. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
