Evening Diary,
Sorry I've not been on been very busy.
Hope everyones had a lovely Christmas. I was really dreading it 3 weeks ago but I made lots of plans and we actually had the best day ever! There was not a single crossed word between the pair of them and they actually thanked me for a good day when we got home.
He saw them for 2 hours in the morning .
I don't want my diary to turn into rants about him but he continues to cause problems and forgets he's the one who caused them! Like tonight he actually sighed because I wasn't nice to him! After what he's done he's lucky he's even stood on the doorstep!
He had let us down massively. We had some filling and painting needing doing in the bathroom and I've asked him twice to come and do it. Then I found out he's been offering to sort bits of skirting board in her rented house!!!!
Anyway I'm not going to beg him so I went into the garage, got the bits and pieces and sorted it myself!!! I won't be beholden to him at all. Im really chuffed with myself too.
Really looking forward to getting into 2019, finding out about UC, sorting all my DD's out and just generally going from strength to strength.
For the rest of 2018 though we still have lots of plans including the panto and catching up with friends and family.
Hope everyones ok xxMummytogirls x0 -
I'm glad you had a good Xmas.
Its very sad that a good dad suddenly turns in to an absent dad once they meet someone else - your ex sounds like a twit of the highest order.
I did wonder if it was another woman when you posted that he had dropped a bombshell - why are they never happy with what they already have? I could rant for a long time on the subject!!
I know it was me who made my STBEXH leave but I am also starting to do things for myself which I have never done before, like mowing the garden and going in the loft!!!
In the next few weeks I am going to attempt to make raised beds for my garden - how hard can it be??
Here's to a fabulous 2019!!!0 -

Well done MTG...walking a similar road myself and every time I'm able to do something that the ex would have done, I count it a victory.

Moving onwards and upwards. So empowered by you ladies getting on with your lives and all the better for it. Seems to be a trend in taking control of your finances leading to taking control in all areas of your lives. I wonder it it scares the men to think of women being financially empowered hense why they turn into total idiots. Just ramblings. Happy 2019 super savers0
