  • EE, thank you for your support, I may call on you at some point as this is totally new to me. I have managed to verify this morning. Im going to ring tomorrow and book an appointment. Do you know what it entails? I mean I am in work so don't need help finding work or anything.

About a 15 min chat about your situation, they will scan/copy your documents and then tell you that they will keep in contcat every few months by phone.
Everyone gets a work coach whether they are looking for work or not, those looking for work get weekly/2 weekly meetings and loads of help, those already in work get occasional phone calls to check how things are.

Its basically a heloo/welcome chat and thats it - you'll be fine.
  • Thank you for that EE, I was thinking I was going in for a grilling!!

Is it at the job centre? xx

  • I hope you have a good day MTG and pick up some bargain chocs :).

I'm not surprised things have been a bit disorganised the past few weeks. You seem to be feeling stronger now so I'm sure you'll get the girls back into their normal routine :).

You are coping superbly by going to work and keeping the house clean. I know how hard it is to do normal things when your life has been turned upside down.

  • Sorry it told me it hadn't posted!!!!!
  • Afternoon Diary,

Sorry I've been awol for a couple of days, been a bit busy!

Feeling so much more positive than this time last week. I think I've just given myself a talking to and realised there is nothing I can do to change whats happened or in fact what he is going to go and do. Plus its not me to be miserable!!

I went out with some friends for a meal last night and I was actually really looking forward it to and enjoyed myself. I didn't speak about him whilst we were there as not everyone knows and I'm glad I went.

Been to the JC for my appointment today. Wasn't in there long and was seen earlier as the person before had cancelled. It was basically for the to check my ID and give me a number to sign in online.
I was dreading it but it wasn't bad at all.

Got a quiet couple of days now or just me and the kids. Friday he will have the girls overnight (even though he is going out and leaving them with his Mum ) so I'm going round to my friends for some wine.

    Hope everyone is ok xx
