Evening Diary,
Yep another snow day here and the kids school was closed too. Were also all closed tomorrow after the local authority advised schools to close again and re-open next week. Weve had so much snow here complete with lots of high snow drifts. We haven't had it like this for a fair few years now. DH was at work but he left the car at home and got the bus and ended up coming home early as so many businesses were shut round here and it was dead!
DDs and I went out sledging and when we came back my poor feet felt horrendous and were actually painful to the point I couldn't stand up. It didn't take long to return to normal thankfully!!! I don't think the girls will be wanting to go back out in a hurry either :rotfl:.
So in other news we found out that DD1 was allocated her first choice of school. So pleased as were just outside of the catchment so didn't know if we would get in. The application for the bus opens tomorrow so thats a job for then as if she doesnt get on the school bus she will need to go on the public bus which I don't feel entirely happy about. We are very lucky in that both buses stop literally on the end of our road.
Today has been NSD1 of 10
Haven't been the most healthy today at all. Also I've had 3 days off work but I'm so tired I have done nothing much at all . Need to get some cleaning done tomorrow as can't have DH doing any when I've not even been at work :rotfl:.
Food:
Breakfast - toast and tea in bed
Lunch - scrambled egg on toast
Tea - cornish pasty and mushy peas
Snack - crisps
Positives:
* NSD1
* DD got her first choice of school
* had a snow week let alone a snow day :rotfl:
* we are warm and safe in our house when its -7 outside
Hope all ok. Thanks for all your lovely messages xMummytogirls x0 -

Evening Diary,
Well I'm not in the best of moods tonight! DH has been nipping into Mr T's for a couple of bits this week with us not being able to get the cars out. Ive been asking him for his receipts which he finally produced tonight... £28 he's spent this week , this is like nearly a full weeks shop in Mr Al's on a handful of things. Im so fed up with this now. Anyway its done now so need to knock another £10 a week off the next 3 weeks shopping to cover it which isn't easy on an already tight budget.
This isn't going to sound very MSE but I've already pushed it on a month. I've been to the hairdressers today and had my greys sorted out. I had a bad experience with a bad batch of hair dye years ago and my hair went yellow so I will never colour at home again! This was spent out of my own spending money.
Nothing much more to post about! Hope all ok xMummytogirls x0 -
Have a lovely weekend MTG
I know it's annoying about the popping in but I find it adds up so quickly just popping in for one or two things.

Don't scare me - I've just started using home colours to save money, going well so far though fingers crossed.
