Cheap iphone charging cable?

Hi,
Ive got a new iPhone SE. I want one lightening cable at work and one at home, but it looks like each cable is about £10 to buy! Does anyone know where to buy cheap cables that are safe? (ie not likely to catch fire!)

I’ve had a Poundland cable in the car for around 8 months now, still working perfectly.

you can get some good cables off ebay.


The type that are gold or silver braid for example.


or from a company kable ?

Avoid white cables which are usually poor copies

The one I’ve linked is a white cable, but it’s not an Apple lookalike, the ends are of a much chunkier plastic and look more hard wearing.
