Glad the birthday went well and your ds enjoyed himself, perhaps he should get out searching at bootsales when the weather picks up for records, mine like doing that sometimes (as well as looking for ancient video games and consoles).
Great suggestion NG, thank you:)
A small TT yesterday and today, a dividend paid and some FC ISA interest added this morning. Signature updated:)
Out of freezer:
1st - one bag of yorkies, small pack mini sausages
2nd - one pack yorkies, pack pastry, raspberries, stewed apples
3rd - one bag chicken breasts
4th - one bag chicken breasts, 4 gammon steaks
5th - half bag chips, pizza
6th - one loaf bread
7th - One whole chicken, one gammon joint, 4pts milk
8th - One pack yorkies
9th - 4pts Milk, one loaf bread, 2 packs sausages
Still plugging away at using stuff up from freezer. There is now a noticeable gap in the chest freezer as I am gradually using up food that has been hanging around awhile. Off to London tomorrow so hope the kids don't wreak too much havoc with my well-crafted system
DS3 is off to his carers tonight for a break away while I am in London, must get his stuff packed this afternoon. Millie has a grooming appointment this morning and I am taking the van to the garage this afternoon for the MOT/Service/New tyres, so a busy day for me. I own't be picking up the van until I get back from London.
Washing already on, that will be the last load I do before I go away.
Have a lovely day xNovember NSD's - 70 -

Morning:)
A small TT this morning and some more IF ISA interest. Sig updated.
DS3 packed and sent to carers successfully, van at garage for MOT etc and dog groomed and smelling very undoglike:rotfl: I still have not packed for London and am leaving about 10.30 this morning so I do need to get a wriggle on. Unfortunately I woke up way too early this morning, so will be very tired tonight I expect!
Have a lovely Wednesday everyone xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Have a great timeMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Back from London:) Had a wonderful time, and surprisingly didn't spend too much money. About £100 overall :T
Van back from garage, MOT passed, new tyres not needed for a few more months, partial service done. Friend of family so will get a bill eventually:rotfl:
That is all my big expenses overwith for the month now. Obviously I will pay the car bill when I get it but it shouldn't be too much. Now I can crack on with saving more money:)
I have done TT's for the days I was away, so signature all updated:) I have all my shifts in for next week now. I'm doing 12hrs fri/sat/sun so instead of going back to work Monday 16th, I won't be returning until Friday 20thResult!
Going to catch up with the washing from the trip, plus DS3's washing and then I am going to chill for the remainder of the day:TNovember NSD's - 70 -

Early start this morning. Dogs decided they wanted to be awake and downstairs
Small payment TT'd. Sig updated.
Lots of housework to get done today, plus loads of small jobs that need doing. Need to double check inventory of freezer to make sure everything kids used while I was away has been crossed off the list.
We will need more bread today, so I expect a trip to the shops will be needed.
List of jobs for today:
Pick up more bread
Inventory freezer
Get washing up to date
Unpack bag from trip and put away
Baking
Change bedding (my room)
Clean bathroom
Go through budget
That will do to start with:D
More tea is required...November NSD's - 70 -
Morning all:)
A tiny TT and some FC ISA interest this morning, signature updated:)
Really nice to see the numbers going upwards even though a little slowly. Travel Fund should have some regular saver interest added this month, plus my usual bank bonus which should see it hit over £180 by the end of the month. Obviously the total is nowhere near where it needs to be, but I have plenty of time to add to it over the coming months. There is some cashback due from Quidco in June which will be added when it comes in.
Isa interest is doing well and I have had £16.03 in so far this month, which all gets automatically added to the House Fund.
DS2&3 back to college/school today. DD has an inset day and we are taking the dogs to the vet. Millie is due her annual booster and Harry is due his 2nd injection. Millie's booster cost is included in her petplan which I pay monthly, I need to sign Harry up for the same thing and pay £40 joining fee, then his will also be free. I also need more flea and worming stuff, which is included in the plan. So just £40 to pay today:T
Cupboards and freezers are starting to show little gaps now. We are half way through the month and the only extra I have bought is bread:T We are still following our menu plan although no exactly to the day, and crossing off meals when we have cooked them so we know exactly what is left (as I shopped to the plan). This makes our lives so much easier! Total spend so far is £238.61. I have £111.39 left if I want to stick to my £350 budget for the month. With only fresh stuff and a few extra bits, I feel this is doable:j
Jobs for today:
Take dogs to vets
Clean downstairs toilet
Get meat from freezer for dinner
Phone garage
Get up to date with washing
Have a lovely Monday xNovember NSD's - 70 -
Regular saver interest is in, plus a small TT from today and yesterday and my bank bonus means my travel fund is now at £194.96:T
This is all really just because of daily TT's and adding in the extra I earn in interest and cashback. It really is surprising how much of a difference those little amounts make! There are 12 days left in the month so I feel confident that I can hit £200 by the end of April just with TT's:)
I had a small Tesco delivery arrive last night £36.08 (the food part of the bill). This should see us through to the end of the month. It was mainly milk/bread and fridge stuff. I have another delivery booked for 1st May. I think this month will be my best ever for grocery spends as it looks like I will come in well under budget:j
Roast planned for dinner tonight:D My fav. Back to work on Friday after a nice long break, but I am ready to go back and feel fully rested. I have a few plans on the go at the moment which might mean big changes for me in the near future but I will say more once I have the green light.
Jobs today include cleaning, cooking and paperwork:DNovember NSD's - 70
