Happy Friday and happy June folks
Summer is here
This week has flown by. A lot busier at work now - enjoying it. Feel loads more settled already.
Payday yesterday and had a few days on my new pay scale resulting in being £90 better off. Next month will be the first proper month on the new pay. Not had time to sort finances yet. Been trying to spend as little as possible this week as am already well over budget. New budget starts Monday so really must start sticking to it properly. Got some money off vouchers from Ocado so this week's online shop has been with them - £15 off £50 spend.
Spent the remainder of my gift card from when I left my last job in M&S - got a linen dress, t shirt, earrings and the beauty box they're doing for £15 if you spend £40. So a good haul there and only £6.50 exchanged hands thanks to the gift card. The beauty box is brilliant and if you're thinking of spending £40 in M&S anyway is more than worth it. I'm afraid beauty boxes are one of my (many) weaknesses.
Met up with the old team for a drink this lunchtime which was lovely. I still miss them but wouldn't want to go back to my old job and I don't regret making the move one bit.
Mr SA has a new pester list - pea plants (!?!?) and an England sweatshirt. He's on a countdown to the World CupDreading it
Told him not to expect me to be sat in front of the TV with him when it's on - I will be finding something better to do.
Will be catching up with the diaries shortly. Hope everyone is ok.
Have a fab weekend folksI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

He wants either sweet peas or mange tout plants. Not really sure what he's on with. He says he wants a hobby. Annoyingly the garden is desperate for some TLC but he won't touch it.
It's been pouring with rain here this morning, hoping it will clear up as today's plan was to meet DS and family at a local park. DGS has started being tested for autism now he's 2 and the things they've been told to do are ridiculous - for instance he loves toy cars so they've been told to take them off him as he's becoming obsessed. Needless to say DS has the common sense to ignore this stupid advice!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Oooh excellent M&S haul there! What kind of things are in the beauty box?

Saw the beauty box on Friday it looked very nice. Would Mr SA be able to manage a small veg plot in the garden , it could be his hobby. Glad to hear the job is going well. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
