Thinking about getting a quote for fitted wardrobes just to see what figure I'm looking at to save. I've seen good reviews of a local company and someone has posted pictures of their fitted bedroom which cost £2900.00. Obviously on top of this I've got to think about re-plastering, painting, some electrical work, a new bed, curtains etc. Not a cheap do but then nothing ever is especially where I'm involved.

We had fitted wardrobes fitted a good few years ago and we went with a local firm good reviews and knew people who had used them one of the best things we ever had done they hide a multitude of things6

We had fitted wardrobes when we first moved in but they were very old fashioned so we replaced them with free standing ones. I’d love a run of them with space for shoes and handbags. I need to do some serious decluttering first though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

I hope Mr SA and the dog are both okay now?
Lovely-looking walk you had there. Even with grey skies it's been pleasant out of doors here today and we managed a few miles too.
@greenbee, you really have been in the wars.I hope the pooled experiences of people with Long Covid will enable you all to find a way out of it.

Now I wonder if she was snaffling his food yesterday and something in it has set them both off?
Are you one of these people who rarely gets stomach bugs? I am... our family is divided down the middle between those who are 'prone' and those who get stinking colds instead. Isn't it odd how people can be so different? Same goes for dogs, I suppose.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Since I stopped eating meat about 35 years ago I’ve rarely had a stomach bug. Same with colds and flu. The dog is fine now thankfully. Now it’s DD who seems to be off, she came home from work at 5pm and went straight to her room, still no lights on. What a shower they all are. Managed to hit 20k steps today so happy with that.
