    Hello folks, happy Friday :)

Thank you all so much for your lovely cooments, much appreciated xx

He will never turn into a health nut I'm afraid. Unbelievably DS has given him the idea of if he can only drink 2 cans a night he may as well get stronger beer  Well thanks for that DS :(

Birmingham next week - I will be taking the morning off to look round the shops as the meeting is in the afternoon. Looking forward to that. I've got £18 in M&S vouchers so might have a mooch in there. I just enjoy pottering around and going for a coffee, not bothered about buying anything really.

Had a lovely catch up with work friend this lunchtime.

No particular plans for this weekend, just WW tomorrow then the usual cleaning, etc. No GKs this weekend.

My dog was a bit off yesterday but thankfully is back to normal today. DD bought her a huge bone back from work and I think it upset her tummy.

Morning folks :) Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far.

Just done finances - will just about scrape through to the end of the month, taken my eye off the ball again I'm afraid, overspent on the "other" spends budget by £32 already, have bought loads of plants for the garden though plus had to buy a new lock for the shed. Groceries budget should be on target, have been sent loads of money off online vouchers from Mr S and Mr O which will help keep me on track.

Went to WW yesterday and have stayed the same. Happy about this as I'm still 2.5lbs under goal. Need to get back on track properly though, trying to maintain now.

I've gone to pot since I came back from holiday, struggling to get back into a routine.

Not a lot on the agenda for today - meal planning, Aldi trip, do online Mr O shop for Thursday when I'm working from home. They sent me a £15 off £60 spend voucher, although might struggle to get it to £60 now Mr SA has cut down on the beer.

Have a fab day folks :)

And here we are at Wednesday :)

Been to Brum today for work meeting, had a potter round the shops, didn't buy anything but had a nice coffee this morning and a lovely orzo and avocado salad for lunch before I went to the meeting. Train was delayed on the way back due to a fire on the line but it didn't get me back that much later to be honest. Mr SA was worried he wouldn't get his dinner on time. Anyway he put his feet up with a beer while I had a quick bath before I cooked his dinner, can't help thinking that he should've been cooking the dinner while I relaxed in the bath but that's never going to happen unfortunately. Shopping from Mr O had arrived but was all still in the carrier bags in the kitchen including the frozen food.

Glad I'm working from home tomorrow at least I won't have to get up at 4.45am.

  • Glad you had time to window shop in Birmingham and well done for not spending :T.

Mr SA's laziness appears to have no limits .

A quick bath to me is 30 minutes, can usually take an hour Buffy :)

So ... worked at home today, was fairly stressful at times as Mr SA was shuffling back and forth, then he started pestering for some cordless hedge trimmers. Reminded him I was working and had to concentrate.

Friday tomorrow, nice long weekend and a 3 day week next week as I'm off Friday for hairdressers followed by lunch with retired friends :j

Mr SA hasn't heard anything back from hospital so assuming bloods are ok now. The beer tally has started creeping up again, I knew it would. He did 1 AFD and a couple of days on 2 cans. Well it's up to him, I'm through with nagging him.
