easyJet one way hold baggage question

I only want a hold bag on the return leg, and easyJet's website says I can't book that online, so I'll call them.
I understand however that telephone bookings are charged a premium over online bookings so my question is will the premium outweigh the cost of booking a bag online for the round trip but not taking one on the outbound?
The cost is £29.86 each way for a 23kg bag if booked on line in advance.

If you make two one-way bookings (online) does it come to the same price?Evolution, not revolution0

The booking is already made so that's not an option, but each booking has an admin fee of (I think) £15 anyway, so that would have to be factored in too.0

So the flights are booked and you want to add a bag for the return sector only, which cannot be done online. If I'm not mistaken, they don't charge you for calling them to arrange something that cannot be done online.Evolution, not revolution0

They don't charge you £15 on top on the one way baggage fee if you call them if the flights are already booked.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

The £15 mentioned was the admin fee per flight booking when done on line. I was wondering if there was any fee for other services done off line. Since starting the thread I got a hold of them on Live Chat and they have confirmed there is no admin fee to add a bag one way via the call centre line.peachyprice wrote: »They don't charge you £15 on top on the one way baggage fee if you call them if the flights are already booked.
Thanks both for the help.0 -
Either cancel one baggage booking (for one part of the journey) within 24 hours of booking the flights, or just book the flights and call them to book one-way hold baggage. Apparently, both options are the same price.0
