Do you know how much, roughly? Cheaper than £15 a roll (7m x1m-ish? 170mm?) I wouldn’t mind paying a couple of quid extra now but if it goes down to £5 a roll then I’ll hang on!

No way was it as cheap as a fiver , I can't remember how much it went down by, probably £3 to £5 It was just I noticed it being dearer next time we went in later in the year

Yeah... from what I’ve read loft insulation (from shops) pretty much now always costs £10 or more. It seem to have trebled in price since around 5 years ago - unless I just haven’t been looking in the right places??
  • From what I’ve been researching today, you don’t aleays have to be a customer of the energy firm to get the free/ subsidised insulation. Based on advice from the main martins Money tips, I’ve contacted eon (I’m a customer of ovo) and they’re coming out next week to give a free survey.

Thanks, that's helpful. Do you have any more info about / a link to the survey they come and give?
