Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving.

You need to edit your posts to remove details of who was driving.

The ppcs monitor this forum and can use your posts against you
  • So I should ignore the letters still?

I've misplaced the original ticket (I moved out of my parents house and have no idea where it is)

The issue date is on the letter, it was August not April, 07/08/17

Moved to the IPC on 14/08/2017 and then back to the BPA later in 2017.

so issued under IPC rules , but access to dvla gained via BPA

so at the time off access and using BPA code of conduct , they were lieing as the signage stated IPC

the ticket is not worth the paper its written on , contact BPA and ask what day they left and what day they returned

being a ticket on car they could not apply for info from dvla for 28 days

  • Right, I've emailed them asking for details.

I don't really understand, if they access DVLA via BPA but then move to IPC wouldn't that mean when they were contacting me using information from BPA that they were breaching confidentiality?

There’s nothing ‘black and white’ in this game, it’s all smoke and mirrors. Jumping ship back and to is not a common occurrence, but it gives you the opportunity to ask difficult questions of the PPC and/or BPA. Make enough of a nuisance of yourself and it could result in the PPC thinking you’re too difficult to deal with.

None of this is guaranteed to work, you just have to put the work in to make their life as uncomfortable as possible.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Ive had a look through previous posts about QDR but it hasn't really helped me in the way of what to do next

No posts suggesting a response? Odd, we've had quite a number about QDR letters and what to do, and they will all show on a search, which will also show you that in no case have QDR proceeded with a claim, IIRC.
