When there are adjustments made, I think they're based on the average completion time of all participants - i.e., if average completion time results in a pay rate below £6, an adjustment is made accordingly, and paid equally to all participants in that study.Kittencat said:I think I'm a little slow in completing some surveys. I have had adjustments made to 2. Is this the case?

I did mine on the 2nd November so you've got another week to go yet! I think I was just a few days away from the automatic payment date.[Deleted User] said:
I am waiting for approval for an hour long £15 AI one and I completed it on 10th November. This Researcher normally approves the submission straight away.elsien said:Taken them nearly 3 weeks, but my hour long £15 AI survey that wasn’t automatically approved has just been paid.
Sigh of relief breathed.
After reading your response, elsien, thanks, I am a bit hopeful now. Maybe I will receive payment after all.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Either this is a survey about being a chef in a chinese restaurant, or Cornell needs to hire a new spellchecker!

I just received a partial payment, after encountering technical problems during a study and having to return it. The partial payment was applied as a bonus payment. Should the bonus amount be green on my submission? It is grey. I hadn't transferred my balance to Paypal beforehand and unfortunately, I can't remember how much it was, so I don't know if the £5 bonus has actually been added to my balance or not.0
-
Did you receive an e-mail from Prolific saying that the bonus had been paid? Or was it just a message from the researcher? If the latter, they may not have done it properly. I received a bonus today, with the Prolific e-mail, and it was green from the start. If you have the Prolific e-mail, it would be worth contacting them and asking why it isn't appearing as green.1

Just checked the last bonus that I had which I know has been paid and it’s showing as green. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I had both a message from the researcher and an email from Prolific saying the bonus had been paid. Should it have turned green, even though I returned the study? It is still showing as returned, so everything is still grey but with the addition of the bonus, which is grey also. Should the researcher have changed it to approved? I guess not, because then they'd have to pay me the full amount (£10). The £5 partial payment is showing below the £10 full payment as a bonus and both amounts are grey, because I returned the study. Hope that makes sense. Hard to explain.MollyR said:Did you receive an e-mail from Prolific saying that the bonus had been paid? Or was it just a message from the researcher? Was that with a study you had returned and the bonus paid as a partial payment for your time? That is my situation.elsien said:Just checked the last bonus that I had which I know has been paid and it’s showing as green.0
