I logged on quite a few times while abroad and was never offered anything other than subsequent parts to surveys where I had already completed at least one part.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly. Forum Ambassadors are not moderators and don't read every post. Didn’t bother checking while I was away.I decided two weeks without doing any surveys might prompt their algorithm into giving me more and better ones when I got back. Plus I’ve got better things to do when I’m on holiday. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Interesting. I do surveys when we go away in the UK (doesn't work outside the UK for us) and don't see any slow down or anything odd.
If you have an issue with a survey you may try to join it on a device that is on the network rather than your wifi (sorry don't know the terminology) and then you complete it on your device on your wifi. For instance, I sometimes pick them up on my mobile on 4G and then complete on the home wifi.0 -
Did anyone participate in the focus group for this? If so, have you been paid yet?
Secondly, I used to access Prolific via Chrome on my mobile but it's changed so that it looks like the computer based version on mobile which is a nightmare as I have to scroll across the page. It might be my mobile, just thought that I'd ask if anyone else was having the same issue.0 -
Did anyone have the study to look at 40 video clips and describe your emotions paid £30

I only ask about the above study as it had nudity in it0

Did it give a warning before you started?

Well, this is always the risk - either you don't read the information at the start, and may find yourself involved in something you would prefer to have turned down, or you risk not grabbing the last place. Swings and roundabouts. But since they did warn you, you can't reasonably complain now!

I reserve the place then go back and read the information properly before deciding whether to carry on or not. There is the odd time when even if you have reserved a place it tells you it’s full but that’s quite rare. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
