Had one pop up for 18 quid for two hours listening to audio things. I decided life was too short. Two hours is a long time.
Yes we both had that.  Why would you want to sit for two hours in one survey - we both rejected it.  I do think researchers could make their studies more appealing and better to complete.
How do you get surveys, have you got the prolific browser add on or do you sit there manually refreshing the screen or do you just sit there and let the screen refresh itself

I have Prolific open in a small window at the side of my screen, and I just let it refresh itself while I get on with other things, and if I happen to notice a study appear while I'm at my computer I jump on it. I do also have the Prolific Assistant extension installed, but it rarely alerts me to a study, and when it does the study is usually full by the time the page has loaded.

I have a Prolific tab open in my browser as I work and let it autorefresh. I can see when there's a survey as the tab shows a (1) after the word prolific

Yep, that's how I do it as well. If I have to go away from my computer I sometimes open it on my phone and then if one pops up, I can grab it and then actually do it on the laptop if its a laptop only one.

I do what most appear to do, have another tab open in the background.  I don't have an extension/app to tell me there is a survey, I just notice the (1) or (2) in the tab next to prolific.

I tend to get surveys early in the morning and last thing at night - the times I am on the net.  I don't generally check during the day even if I am on the net.

I just open a Prolific tab when I have a bit of time not doing anything else important/fun. So I probably miss out on a lot of surveys, but I'm only doing them for pin money rather than anything more serious!

Just had a bonus of £15 for a study I did on playing a game of probability with other people and choosing how much money you should get to keep or hand over to the other person.  I chose for the other person to get nothing on each task and for me to get the most money each time

wow, was that this one?  I did 50/50 on most of it. No bonus for me as yet :-(

I just downloaded my submission history - end of year tax to do - and I thought I would have a look at the researchers.  Exeter University is by far the biggest provider of income for me on prolific, with Baker Pie/researcher Kim the next.

I hope you don't mind me asking, theonlywayisup, but my submissions go back as far as the Tax year 2020-2021.  The only option I see is to download full submission history.

Is there a way to only download submissions from 06 April 2022 to 05 April 2023?  If it is possible I would like to download just this past Tax Year because, previously, I did not earn over £1000 from Prolific in a tax year but, this time, I think I have earned a bit over £1000 and I would like to check - for the Tax, thank you.

If anyone knows if I can download all the Prolific Payments which have been earned and paid into my Halifax Current Account for the Tax Year 2022-2023 that would be a good help too.  It  would be really appreciated - but I don't know how to do it.

    Thank you for any help.
