I got a response from Prolific. It says "Unfortunately, it looks like the researcher has underestimated their study's completion time, and it has fallen below the minimum payment rate that we ask all researchers to adhere to.
As a result, we will now contact the researcher and ask them to award bonus payments to all valid submissions. We have also placed a temporary ban on the researcher's account - this ban will become permanent if the researcher refuses to comply with our request.
We have also further explained to the researcher that they are not allowed to ask participants for personally identifiable information such as postcode. As above, failure to acknowledge this and refrain from doing so in the future will result in a permanent ban from the platform."
So they shouldn't ask for postcodes and it was paying less than it should have. Will wait to see if the researcher pays up or whether they just accept the ban.

I got the same response from Prolific. No response from the researcher yet, although they have paid the 90p originally offered.
