I just reached £5 again and noticed a little green 'Instant' icon next to the Cashout button, so gave it a go and the money had arrived by the time I'd logged in to PayPal, with no fees deducted:)
I think last week was my first PayPal cashout in ages so perhaps they've removed the need to cashout 4 times. Or else are including PayPal cashouts from pre-Circle days?
No fees for £5, Vintage67? Coo! :T
Ooh, ooh! My PayPal works! Smodlet did a technical thing! <Bounces up and down> Yeah, I know...0 -

Anybody else been rejected for card game?
I just got this message:
Dear participant,
I am rejecting your submission to my study "Card game" (https://app.prolific.ac/studies/5d0b66a0cf0ad600165f11cb).
Unfortunately, you did not submit a completion code to confirm that you successfully completed my study, nor do I appear to have any data associated with your Prolific ID.
Please contact me if you wish to contest this rejection.
Apologies and regards,
Rebecca McDonald
I'm baffled as I definitely fully completed the game, submitted the completion code JC4FT22Z and it is showing up as completed. I was due a £2.50 bonus for this game so I'm a bit miffed about this!0 -

As you've got a completion code and aren't being rejected due to failing an attention check or providing poor answers, you should be paid, as missing data is the researcher's fault. See section 4 of this page of the researcher FAQ:

Prolific customer support should sort it out for you if you contact them.0 -

Awwww...I've just been paid for this and I didn't submit a completion code....it is logged as 'manual completion' for me.0 -
A question:
Middle of the night, you can't sleep and you start faffing about on the internet on your phone and you spot a Prolific survey that would pay £1.75 but can only be done on a desktop computer....... would you get up and do the survey? (Ahem, asking for a friend)

I got an immediate reply from Rebecca saying
Hi
I'm very sorry about this - some unscrupulous participants use completion codes from others to try to claim credit for studies they have not done, and so we need to be strict on acceptances to deter this.
However, since you have been in touch and explained that you really did take part, I will approve your submission. I hope you understand that I can't pay a bonus as I cannot find any record of what it would have been.
I hope this is an acceptable compromise.
So she did approve the 50p "show up fee" but I was due a £2.50 bonus on this which she hasn't approved.
Should I contact support to query this do you think??0 -

Hell, yeah, if you genuinely did complete this study.
I still, for the life of me, can't see how asking for completion codes when there is a technical problem and you have completed the study can be an issue if your data was transmitted. If the researcher, for some reason, cannot see your data I really don't know what to suggest other than contacting PA. I believe their FAQs state lack of a completion code is not a valid excuse for non-payment.
I have been paid for both studies and bonuses within a few days for parts 1 and 2 of the balls lucky dip study. I contacted Rebecca twice about the delay in the other participant engaging during part 1 and found her perfectly reasonable in her replies.
I really hope you reach a satisfactory result.0 -
Got a place but loading so slowly I'm not sure I'll be able to complete it.
