Thanks for all the replies - didn't really think anything of it since I was under the impression that they did charge a fee for PayPal, anyway I put in an inquiry and they refunded it straight away so all good. Apparently something to do with changing from Circle to PayPal - not sure I followed the reasoning but it's sorted now so thanks all for letting me know it shouldn't have been charged.

Because not everyone can have a Prolific window open, waiting for a survey. So by posting up a new survey here, it can alert members and help them to earn money too. That is the theory anyhow...

I think these days its also sharing who got what and any ideas if surveys were weird, issues encountered and so on.

Its good at showing if surveys are available etc.

I find this thread very handy to monitor as it highlights any issues with payments or studies, that others have had.

I also use the prolific add on for Firefox that alerts me by speech if there is a study, handy if you are not looking at the screen as studies don't hang around for long usually.

Took a while for this one to pop up on mine. Around 3800 places remaining at the time, so anyone else keep an eye out!
