The researcher just replied, saying they'd mistakenly omitted the Twitter requirement and that tweeting was supposed to be optional and part of the study.
Much fuss about nothing, I feel. If people are going to get "annoyed" about one post about Litter, which is an important issue in the UK as there are many litter bugs, then they should probably consider whether twitter is the right social media platform for them.....its quite a cut throat social media platform!
If I see a post Im not interested in I just do a radical thing and ignore it :eek:0 -
In the new site, I've just noticed that if you click on "Legacy" (next to "Support") at the top right of the screen, it takes you to the old Prolific site. But I'm guessing they're not really wanting you to use it because they've still got that awful verification process, which they seem to have dispensed with on the new site.
I got an email last week about a Brexit study and clicking from the email also took me to the old site. Anyone else experienced this?Don't wait for the storm to pass

There is nothing on the old site except a link to the new site at least for me.0

That's weird because I've got everything I had before - studies, dashboard, account etc - you can even cash out. It all works perfectly.
However, the fact that Smodlet has nothing on the old site doesn't bode well. Maybe they're planning to abolish it altogether.Don't wait for the storm to pass
