I can reserve a place, but when I go into it,the sound clips don’t load. Wondered if it was just me or a general problem.

This one? There's a whole list of them in my account but I've not tried.

I had a load of them. I tried three different ones and none of them loaded so i returned them. I kept an eye on the dashboard and the pay per hour for them never changed which means no one was able to do them. Maybe they will fix them and they'll be back but the pay wasn't great so I am not too bothered about it.

No, it wasn’t this. I think it must be the ones that’s Snowhyte is talking about,

I had a whole list of the $3.50 ones, I think I tried about 6 of them, none would load so I reported all if them as not working.
  • A few of the $3.50 ones popped up again today but they're still not working.

Hi, quick question, has anyone tried or had any luck asking if there is an alternative way to ID yourself for the DAC 7 requirements if you don't have photo ID?
I said I wouldn't continue on the platform after all the new rules but I really miss it :(
I submitted a general query to Prolific without my account details but they want all of that before even giving a general answer (I would have thought they could just say so, if it's a flat 'No' :/) so thought I'd ask here. I expect most of you have driver's licenses etc so it's not an issue, but not everyone does :(

Anyone can get a provisional drivers license, even if they have no intention of taking a test.
Worth considering if you did want to carry on with prolific.

  • Hmm, hadn't thought of that, although it does say on gov.uk  "You’ll be told when you sign in if you need to prove your identity. This is to keep your details safe and usually involves using photo ID like a passport..."

If you look at the requirements for a driving licence   it does say that they will accept other forms of ID such as a birth certificate along with other forms of proof. It doesn’t have to be a passport but they will ask for a photo verified by someone else similar to when you do apply for a passport.
