  • Bit gutted that I only managed to do one higher rate AI comparision study yesterday. I had a full day of work and plans afterwards, so only managed one on my lunchbreak and they were all gone by today. The higher rate of pay definitely makes it worthwhile if I'm not working. Typically when I'm not working (today and tomorrow), I expect there won't be any. Last December I made over £1k on similar studies - definitely miss that kind of extra income.

I go an hour long one last night after midnight - wrong time to be thinking about engaging my brain, for me.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • I went through the emails for the hour AI studies this morning and lots of them were paused rather than not being active any more with lots of spaces left, so hopefully some of them will make an appearance again at some point!
  • Had about 20 or so studies on my dashboard but there were lots of repeated studies and none that I would actually be willing to do.
  • Does anyone get this message about the AI studies (the 15 minute ones)?

    Dear participant,
We manually reviewed some of your answers and found some quality issues in them. While we have approved your submission this time around, please note that repeated issues of this nature may affect your ability to participate in our future studies.

Given the scale of our studies, we cannot give individual feedback about the responses that didn't meet our criteria, but rest assured that with enough care and attention to detail, your responses will be accepted.

                                             -----------------------------------------------------------------------

A lot of the comparison videos are of such poor quality that I have to mark them as both good / bad. I think this is why they send the message out as they prefer you to chose one or the other. Anyway that's what I'll do in future to see if that keeps them happy!

I’ve never had it myself, but I think it has been mentioned on here before.
They are changing what they are asking you to look for though, and it’s not always about the quantity. Sometimes they ask you to ignore the quality and rate it for something else. Always worth doublechecking the instructions to be on the safe side.

Just done another one and have copied their wording,

Choose the video that you think is of highest quality (less defects, distortions, artifacts, excessive blur, etc.). If both have the same quality, choose the one that is more appealing to you (more interesting, better composition, etc.). If both videos are equally appealing, click on "Equally Good/Bad".

Again I would say that at least half of the ones I reviewed, both had very poor quality. As they don't give individual feedback as to why my selection is wrong then there's not much I can do. However as I said, I think in instances where both videos are of poor quality I am going to chose one over the other in some of them as continually selecting "Equally Good/Bad" is what they don't like. Who knows?

I've had the message maybe 3 times across a few months. I was concerned I wouldn't get any more studies, but I still do from time to time.

You get the videos to check and select the one you like. Some of them will be repeated. My view is that you get that message where you don't give the same answer for two showings of the same video / picture.

Has anyone had a load of describing voice clips AI ones come up?
I can reserve a place, but when I go into it,the sound clips don’t load. Wondered if it was just me or a general problem.
