The 5 dollar comparisons between 2 videos or images seem to have disappeared for me. I've got a load of the personally identifiable ones keep popping up too. No chance.
Loads of the $5 AI comparison ones, popped up for me this morning.

Go for it!  Looks like I'm out of the participants for a while.

Anyone tried the 'understand online tools' that pay 6-8$ and take 45+ minutes? Just trying to gauge if they are worth doing?

Nope, too low a reward for the time and effort (and I've fed that back to Prolific) - I'm mostly put off by the fact that they always seem to take about 15 mins longer than the expected time which rings alarm bells for me.

In fact, I've barely done any Prolific work this month as it is all just low paying dross - I've been spoilt by the AI studies!

I've had a lot of those recently, but didn't bother doing them.  $8 is roughly 5 or 6 quid, give or take.  Probably less than that using the appalling PayPal conversion rate.  Seems like an awfully long survey for not much money.  Certainly a heck of a lot less than the AI video ones that pay $5 for 15 minutes.

I’m getting a lot of them, but none of them are ones that I actually want to do. Most seem to involve taking pictures of myself Or being recorded, which isn’t going be happening.
Mine looks the same. Low paying stuff and recording. So disappointing after a great November and December. I  hope that it's not all going to be interviews from now on, I'm not interested.
I want interesting and well paid ones without cameras!
    Well, I can wish, can't I.

I remember this happening over the Summer and then some more came up, so fingers crossed it's just a quiet spell and they'll come back for us!

I had a bunch of the $5 AI ones show up late last night but I only managed to do one before they disappeared again. I've never received a warning for them but I'm definitely not in the regular rotation. I only seem to catch them a few times a month now.

Just had a study rejected as it said I clicked through the answers too quickly, I was very annoyed, as I definitely didn't. Does this impact on the amount of studies you would be sent etc?  Hope not, have had a clean record up until now, and been doing them over 2 years.

I had that as well,  awhile ago. I did complain, but never got a response. I don’t think it’s a one it affects what you’re sent though.
Although if I am whizzing  through a study now (Because some of them are bleeding obvious) I deliberately take a bit more time between questions just to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

Some of the studies are way out in their predicted timings!  I always have a look now and try and aim to finish around the average finish time to avoid exactly this, which sometimes means deliberately going slowly, or hanging on at the end before I press submit.

I've been doing this sort of thing across platforms for several years now so I'm really fast at the demographic questions, plus I'm a quick reader and I process information quickly so I generally finish on the quicker side anyway!
