Can you do it on your phone or are they desktop ones. Using mobile data can get round that issue if the survey will allow it.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Re yesterday: "Every new study notification, when I click to start, tells me I am ineligible to participate." I think it must have just been a "glitch" because today things seem to be back to normal. I have completed 3 Studies with no problems and one which, at first, said I was not eligible to participate but, when I clicked again, I was able to complete the Study.Thank you again for the helpful replies yesterday - they are much appreciated.1

Tried that, still blocked, both on WiFi and on mobile data.elsien said:Can you do it on your phone or are they desktop ones. Got one of THOSE studies for the first time in months but it’s not responding…0

I didnt realise that if you have a VPN connection you do not get any studies appearing. I don't normally have my VPN switched on but it automatically switched on yesterday and no studies appeared - switched it off and they then appeared.0

I’ve messaged prolific. Saying that I want to complete the studies where I’ve done part 1 and committed to doing further parts of the study and the researchers need me to do so. Their reply was to message the researchers explaining that you can’t access the study from abroad. I feel sure that in previous years it would allow you to complete studies like this.silvercar said:

Surely the point of a VPN is that it hides that you are abroad and gives the impression you are in your home country?Julezy101 said:I didnt realise that if you have a VPN connection you do not get any studies appearing. Maybe that’s why they don’t like people are using them? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I understand that, I thought if a VPN is working properly it hides that you are abroad, isn’t that why people use them? I thought they hid the fact you were using one, certainly when I’ve used one to appear in the UK eg for bbc iplayer, it’s convinced the site I’m in the UK.elsien said:Maybe that’s why they don’t like people are using them?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
