I have had several studies available for me today, but when I click to start on any of them, I get an error message saying that I am not eligible to take them. Tried refreshing several times, and logging out and logging back in, also trying a different browser but still get the message. Was able to complete several studies yesterday no problem.
Has anyone else had this issue today?
Edited to add - I contacted Prolific and the problem is now sorted, looks like it was a temporary glitch.0 -
Is it me, or are some studies just plain weird? Just had one come up that gave two made up names of speakers, saying one had more market share than the other. No other details. Asked for a detailed written description of both of them. Paying 33p. Returned as not interested.Make £2025 in 2025

Has anyone seen an AI study that isn’t fact checking this week? I’ve had a good run in the last month but not seen any since Tuesday. I’m always worried I’ve been thrown off the list!0

I've personally only seen a few AI studies this week, pretty sure they've all been the fact checking (two responses) ones.
These are really starting to get even harder now, I'm assuming everyone has seen the latest update and guidance, which indicates you are not meant to use the same research and comments when writing out your replies and fact checking summaries of the two responses. Bearing in mind some tasks might have 20 claims to fact check (I've had a couple that have required over 40..)1 -
I haven't done any fact checking in three weeks because of the changes. It was already quite difficult. The sources just aren't there for so many of the responses. So do we just list a load of claims as unsupported?0

I've definitely had more 'unsupported' the last couple of months, than in the past. Yes, if you can barely find anything at all then you don't have many options. Don't forget to try alternative search engines. The big name one(s) do manipulate results, they openly say so.1 -
I'm abroad on holiday at the moment and stupidly left my browswer with Prolific open on a tab - as it obviously updates as new studies come in as I see the numbers at the top of the tab, does anyone know if this is enough to get my account put on hold? I haven't tried to take any surveys.
@PocketWatchMan - yes I saw that. I don't understand how you can't use the same evidence and justification for two identical claims for both responses! One thing I have also been wondering - if we can only find one piece of supporting evidence for a claim, then is that unsupported by default? I've had a couple where I've had a direct quote and found the original source material, but no supporting evidence and a few others as well.0 -
