I started this Study and after about 20 minutes the screen froze on a box saying that the interviewer was typing   I contacted the Researcher but had to return the Study as I was going to be timed out.  I gave my reason for returning the study as "Technical error."

Exactly, the same happened to me. No reply from the researcher. I marked it as finished and put in the code they gave.

I am getting fed up of the sky TV ones continually popping up. My information says I don’t have paid TV. I told them countless times I am not interested in their survey. And lo and behold, here it is again.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Tried that and did complete the survey after some time loading it.  But was timed out when I got back to the Prolific page! Oh well!

  • There's additional guidance posted for fact checkers.
  • Quick q for fact-checkers - is everyone writing a full sentence confirming accuracy for every single claim as in the guidance?  I've been using a kind of shorthand with evidence for accurate claims, but only going into explanatory detail/reasoning for anything that isn't accurate or I've had to think about in more detail?

I'll never get through any of the longer ones if I have to write detailed justifications for every single accurate claim.
