Wirm,
If you look at this thread - Computer Security - Free! there are links to Mozilla & Opera. If you look at some of the security threads, Mozilla Firefox seems to come out as very popular, not read a bad word about it. I use it myself and when I had recent computer problems it was all to do with IE but luckily I could still use the Mozilla to get to websites which I was having problems with using IE. I also use Thunderbird email - see Mozilla for details.Torgwen..........

Opera is my favourite I don't use anytjhing else except for the odd wesite in a 1000 that only accepts IE.
Why because it is more functional than IE and is better laid out.
Mozilla Firefox is also great but doesn't have the functionality of Opera although consequently it is quicker.
Remember you can have umpteen browsers on your PC so go on don't be shy give some others a try :-)0 -

Which is what I'm doing! ;D0 -
And now I have decided that Mozilla Firefox is the better of the lot! You have to pay for Opera - or have adverts and it has far to many buttons0

If your're going to get Firefox, there's two extensions you MUST get.
ieview means that when you come across a page that won't display properly, you can right-click and select '"View in IE"
Image zoom means that you can enlarge any image to any size by right-clicking and using the scroll key - see here
