Are you using internet explorer ?
No, I am on Windows 10 and and have tried from Google and Firefox with the same results.
I just tried the one you gave above - tinypics and joined, uploaded and got 2 codes on the left hand side, didn't know which I wanted for forums so tried both, but neither posted the picture, only the code.0 -
I used the contact page on postimage to ask them if there was any way that they could log me out so I could try logging in again. I contacted them twice but they haven't answered me.0

Me again, I also keep this site because it also creates an URL for forums
http://tinypic.com/?t=postupload
On postimage, it comes up with codes for lots of things, I can only see 2 codes on here, what do I use for forums please? I have tried both but it just posts the code but no picture.0 -
Sorry, ignore above - me being thick, didn't notice the other boxes, will try it now - Thanks!!0

Andy, the Op asked if we knew of another site that did the same, hence !!!!!!!.
Dollardog, I'm currently on iPad, so less able to experiment as to which URL is best. As with postimage, I usually play around with the arch option to I get the correct one as I can never remember. Incidently, every photo I have, I put into googlephotos (password protected) and they can be accessed from phone/tablet/laptop/pic in fact as I shoot away using phone, not nay do they go to phone, but to google photos as well. I realise that's not helping you with either the URL or how to retrieve your existing photos, but it may get help you. I'd be happy nclined to wait for postimage to get back to you. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Just got the tinypics working so I can at least post some pictures. I will have to look for another customer service number for postimage. Thanks for all your help.0

Thanks for your help, I don't think they are going to answer my contact query so I am going to look for a number for them or perhaps go to the library to see what happens if I try to get in from there. At least your other site has got me going again with the forum.
I have not lost my photos as they are on my phone anyway and most on laptop as well. Sorry, I'm not very technically minded, I think mine go to Google from the phone but how do I access them from somewhere else? ie on laptop. At the moment, I just plug the phone in to laptop with data cable and either download them onto there or use them from the phone.0 -
I am not techie minded but have you tried clearing your cache? I find doing that solves a few problems.
As for postimage....yeah, I've been having many problems with it just lately. It seems to be ok til you post the code into the reply box then when you post reply there is no image. I was assuming it's a glitch at their end. I have given up with it now and use tinypic.
Some people only exist as examples of what to avoid....0 -
Dollardog. Lets take this one step at a time.
*Have you created a google photo's account? if so, you will have a password to get in.
* if not, create one:-
https://www.androidcentral.com/how-set-google-photos
I would suggest you set this up on your PC/laptop. Once done, you can search for “google photo’s” on any other device, ie phone/tablet then save it as a favourite, that way you get a shortcut to your screen.
You will see somewhere, the option to “sync” all photo’s, tick this. Then any photo you save, whether it be a screen grab from laptop/tablet/pc will find it’s way to “google photo’s”. An example being that while you are out and about taking pics with phone, they go to two places, your phones memory AND google photo’s which you can look at on your tablet/laptop/pc at home.
As an aside, knowing that all photo’s have gone to “google photo’s” you can then clear them from your phone to free up memory, but you won’t loose them as they are in the cloud in google photo’s.
I referenced password earlier. I don’t use mine as I leave my google account open.

Another option, is to use https://www.lunarpic.com
you will see “upload” then processing.
The photo will arrive and underneath you will see this:-
Save!or Share on!FaceBook!|!Imgur!|!EzPhoto!|!Tumblr!|!Pinterest!|!Google+!|!Twitter!
Click on Imgur then select the middle url, for forums.
Copy it as in copy/paste and here it is.[/URL
