We've just got a new TV that includes Freeview with the intention of ditching Sky.
How much of the Olympics will be on Freeview ?

I think you'll find that your old TV had Freeview too. All TV's sold in the UK for the last 15 years or so have had a digital tuner, well before the analogue signal was turned off.No free lunch, and no free laptop0

The 2 broadcasters are BBC and Eurosport so maybe (or most) half of the coverage.
I think the BBC will be showing all of it (within their limits time wise). They were awarded full rights in the UK, they've done a deal with Discovery but I can't see anywhere where Discovery will have exclusive rights in the UK to any content.

Hopefully it's a smart TV which will include iPlayer. Or there are umpteen ways to get iPlayer on your TV, so if it's not on the Freeview, or the red button, you should be able to get it there.0

None of it, hopefully, unless there is a crash in the bobsleigh....0

Eurosport is not on Freeview. I believe its available as a subscription service but needs a dongle. Any experiences anyone ?
Eurosport will just create their own shows I think, they won't have any additional content over the BBC (who actually own the rights). I'd stick with the BBC only, besides Eurosport are owned by the Discovery group so chances are they'll mess it up...0 -

A Chromecast and a smart mobile phone and app, or a PC etc and subscription all details on the Eurosport player website.
The BBC are apparently showing 19 hours per day across BBC1, 2 and 4.0 -
