Haggling with BT as an out of contract customer

Let us know how the transfer goes. I am thinking of switching to plusnet in August if I do not get a decent offer.
So just to follow up on this - we switched over on 12th February. The broadband went down at 3:28am, so I put the Plusnet username and password into the router, and it reconnected at 12:22pm. I checked the speed in the afternoon and it immediately carried on at the expected 38 Mb or so down and 7 Mb up. No problems at all. For reference this is with a TP-Link TL-WDR3600 router and our Openreach ECI B-FOCuS V-2FUb/I Rev.B VDSL2 (phew!) modem from 2012. I don't know what exact time the phone switched over but that it also fine.
Thank you all for your help.0
