'm having an ongoing fault with o2 in that the mast is down!
I first reported this issue on the 5th October.
Since then, I've had further updates on ;

12th October
18th October
25th October
1st November
14th November
28th November
12th December
10th January
23rd January

All these updates state that they are still looking into the issue and will be in touch soon. I was told to get back in touch today for an update and it's now going to be continuing for an unspecified amount of time

I have had my airtime credited for this month however complaints are unwilling to do anything as their terms state it's not a fault free service so if I want to go elsewhere I'll need to pay the fees.

Ask them for a free signal booster (if that would work) or advise that they aren't providing service and you wish to move penalty free.

They will fob you off until hell freezes over with T&Cs.

    Yeah I've been noticing that!
The complaints specialist handling my complaint is now being unresponsive so getting nowhere!

You should receive a credit whilst your local base is off - do remember the rest of the network is there and working, so not as if all services are down. After 4 months if nothing has improved they will allow you to leave due to the inability to resolve the issue. This also can be outwith their direct control (mast access etc) so keep getting the credits then ask to leave, but check first which network is best to transfer to - not GiffGaff for example, which uses 02’s network!

Does WiFi Calling work when a local transmitter is down out of interest?
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.

Yes, only requires working Wi-Fi as per the name.
