NB: NEWBIES thread has just one appeal now - what else needs changing please?

Just before I go to bed, I've changed the NEWBIES thread about how to beat private parking tickets. Quite sweeping edits, hope it helps, not hinders.
Hoping to make the first post clearer, I've created a single appeal in blue writing. IT IS FOR BPA AND IPC PPCs.
Also some Q & A have been added at the start, as it's meant to be a FAQS thread.
Comments?
What have I missed?
What else needs a good overhaul?
What was the thing I promised to add to the NEWBIES thread last month, then forgot? Anyone?!
Please use this thread at any time to add suggestions and I will check it regularly even later on in the year.

The last sentence in the paragraph under the subheading "Windscreen ticket from a BPA member? = STOP - wait and research before appealing!!" needs very slight adjustment to avoid referring to the BPA version of the appeal template.
Perhaps "using the BPA member version (blue writing) template below" should be changed to something like "using the blue template below".0 -
Suggest 3 further questions with answers:
I have found I have got a CCJ what do I do? (Or similar question)
"Apply for a set aside....
How to find out if a company which Approved association, either BPA or IPC, a parking company is a member of?
Search using google for.....
How likely is the parking firm to take me to court?
Look at the BMPA website and.....
Obviously the second question being in the Q & A will mean further changes later in the sticky thread...0 -
I suggest you add a section on what to do if you were not the driver. Currently the advice on this forum is very confusing. Newbies will think that if they were not the driver, that they need to deal with the PCN themselves. This is obviously incorrect and people who come here should be told that if they were not the driver they should give the driver details to the Parking scumbags so you cannot be taken to court. This is the Money Saving approach as opposed to the odd manner in which this forum currently handles these cases eg pretending that you were driving (even though you wasn’t) but if asked who was driving by the court to not tell them because you are under no obligation to do so (with all the negative inferences a Judge may deduce from this approach). If you were not the driver write to the parking firm and tell them who was so they CANNOT hold you liable. The person who was driving the car is responsible so let them deal with it. Not you! Don’t let people with an agenda tell you otherwise.0

OH DEAR ... not again, misleading advice again ?
All we can do is tell people to ignore you0 -

Can you repeat that in English please? Or at least provide subtitles.0 -
This must be from an alternative universe because I can't remember seeing anything like this.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

The following link at the bottom of post #1 doesn't work. I think something happened when you tried to make it bold.

I too was going to mention that first link in the leased cars part at the bottom of post #1
a copy and paste works, but not the live link
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5703794

ALSO
can you please add a few more of the legal acronyms to the acronyms in post #5

I think you missed this, already specially in the Scotland Q & A:Q - ''I'm in Scotland/NI, so is the advice different?''
A - IF THE EVENT TOOK PLACE IN SCOTLAND OR NI, WE SUGGEST YOU DO (ALWAYS!) COMPLAIN TO STORE MANAGEMENT IF YOUR PCN IS FROM A RETAIL PARK, BUT DO NOT APPEAL, UNLESS YOUR CAR IS A COMPANY/HIRE/LEASED VEHICLE, IN WHICH CASE, APPEAL AS HIRER/LESSEE (SEE * AT THE FOOT OF THIS POST).
IN SCOTLAND/NI, DO NOT BE ALARMED BY ODD POSTS SUGGESTING YOU SHOULD 'NAME THE DRIVER'...FOR OBVIOUS REASONS THIS IS NOT THE MAJORITY VIEW AND SIMPLY ABANDONS THE DRIVER (USUALLY A FAMILY MEMBER) TO THE PARKING SHARKS, WITH A LESS STRONG DEFENCE. CERTAINLY COMPLAIN TO THE RETAILERS, BUT IGNORE THE PARKING FIRM UNLESS YOU GET A CLAIM. IN SCOTLAND THIS IS EXCEEDINGLY RARE, AND DEFENDABLE BY A KEEPER, WHO CURRENTLY HAS A FAR MORE PROTECTED POSITION IN LAW THAN AN ADMITTED DRIVER.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
