I guess one way around the long-taxation is to just fly to europe and get their costs. I've not looked into it yet, but as I intend to visit my family in Australia in 2011 for the first time in 5 years, i'm curious which countries are cheaper to fly from. An extra connection is an inconvenience but if it saves me some cash, then its all good.0

David Cameron declared in 2007 "I think people will have faith in green taxes if we say every pound on a green tax will come off a family tax." So, at least you are benefiting from other tax cuts while you pay more for flying, such as....0
