Has it been sorted? If not the D-M flywheel, then it could be that your friction plate rivets are insecure and it is on the verge of falling apart.
Could even be a cheap fix - your hydraulic clutch requires a bleed and the air in the system is restricting the effect of the clutch pedal.0 -
So annoying that the OP didn't come back on this0

Thanks for the reply Noree but had a new clutch and flywheel fitted 3 weeks ago and is now working fine.0 -

Air in the system doesn't equal a bleed, it means airs getting in somewhere so a component is knackered and usually when this happens it's the slave cylinder0 -

Sadly its a common failure hence it was my opinion thats what would be the resolution.0 -

Break down the properties of water and consider the term HYGROSCOPIC. Bubbles naturally form in hydraulic brake/clutch circuits without going into the science of it. That!!!8217;s all available online.
If the pedal didn!!!8217;t return, then perhaps a leak in the system could well be the problem. Whether it be a pipe or a hydraulic based component.
Glad to hear it is problem sorted Sparky2003!0
