Caradon Hill transmits on channels 31 and 37 which broadcast on 56, 57, 58 and 55 5Star+1, 86 More4+1, 95 Freesports, 96 Forces TV.
I have an HD TV and HD Recorder, neither of which can receive channel 37.
I can receive all other channels SD and HD, namely channels 21,22,24,25,27 and 28, but not 31
and 37. I can receive 81 Talking Pictures and 70 The Horror channel
Do I need a new aerial?

Caradon Hill transmits the main PSB muxes @ 100 kW erp. The main COM muxes @ 50 kW (= -3 dB).

COM 7, f.ch 31 is 11.6 kW (-9.4 dB) and COM8, f.ch 37 only 1.9 kW (-17.2 dB). Hence a very much reduced coverage. It will depend on how near you are to Caradon Hill and other factors such as the radiation patterns from the site towards you.

In April 2019 those two COM muxes move to frequency channels 57 & 58 at the same effective radiated power and will then be outwith older group A aerials and even more difficult to receive.
