Has anyone that's an out of contract Sky customer managed to get the Sky Q box installed without multi screen for less than £199?

New customers pay just £20 for the 1TB box, just tell them you no longer have an HD+ box (broken, sold etc).0

yes! no need to pay £199 if you are out of contract0

The reason I asked is because the T&C's on My Sky are:
Existing Sky+ customers wishing to upgrade to Sky Q 1TB box or Sky Q 2TB box without taking a Sky Q Multiscreen subscription: £199 standard set-up.
So, how do you reach the answer you have given?
Many thanks.0 -

Because like me he read that you're out of contract, you now sound like you meant you're out of minimum term and on a rolling monthly contract.0 -

No problem.
In answer to your question there may be 1 or 2 in either:-

or

but if so they're rarer than hens teeth. This may change as time goes on but for now it seems they still put a premium on Sky Q. Guess they have to claw back the development costs.0 -
Thank you, Colin.0
