Does anyone know how I can get back to the old forum format?
Since I logged in again after replacing my laptop I have the new format and I don't like it.
Hope all the poorlies are on the mend and hugs and spoons to all who need them.

Gintot you need to go into control panel which is at the top of the page. Scroll down to manage version. Select 'old version'.
Evening all,
Nmlc hang in there. It wont be like this forever. I know its no consolation, if things go belly up with your Mothers care, the family can hardly blame you. Such a shame your Mothers' stuck in the middle of it though.
Busy day shopping. What started off going to one shop has developed into three. We had to dodge snow showers. Hopefully it wont stick.
Just waiting for our tea to cook and the evening is mine.

I have a lamb stew simmering on the hob which I will reheat tomorrow for lunch. Older dd and her husband are popping in so looked out some chicken burgers, beef burgers and beef sausages for them to have with mash and veg as they don't like lamb and I am trying to gradually empty the freezer.
I managed to flatten most of the cardboard boxes so pleased with that and will just take it easy tonight.

Evening all
Another late post, so that's nothing new this week. Can't seem to get my act together at all. Sorry teacher :rotfl:.
Had a lovely get together with our friends until she showed me her operation scars _pale_. Poor woman it was not enough for her to have her tumour removed and then another op to remove her nodes, but they took her drain out too soon and it turned into an infection. Anyway we talked and talked, thought I could talk for Wales but she beat me into a cocked hat, however she is from Liverpool and there's no stopping her when she gets going :rotfl:. ( no offence to any Liverpudlians )
I have also done two loads in the WM and emptied the DW. Then I parked myself on the sofa and watched the new Pirates of the Caribbean film. Now I'm on here, this won't get the baby a new bonnet will it ?
Never mind tomorrow is another day, so the saying goes and I probably won't get much done then either
Hope everyone has had a reasonable day. Take care and hugs to all.
NMLC I truly believe in Karma and I hope it bites them in the derriere  ! People can be so horrible sometimes.
Pennies :hello: Wedding plans eh ? How exciting :T.
Dumpling Oh dear, just when you have enough on your plate, someone slings a pudding on top. Knowing your family you will all just take it in your stride. Many hugs from me.
Hope all the poorlies are tucked up warm. I am sending healing vibes to all of you.
Hopefully "see" you all tomorrow.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -

a day in bed sounds like something I need,
The past few weeks have been tiring , long days in work for me and I have been 4 10 hour work days back to back and stayed behind on thursday for a 2 hour staff meeting after work. But we get paid for extra time, meetings and things so its okay and i Love my job so it all works out.
Just feel a bit under the weather that's all.
This morning i did very rough wedding planning. I have too much to save for and don't know where to start
Hi 2674644,
Re your wedding planning, can you break it down into sections: ‘essentials’ e.g. church/registry fees, reception location, then ‘usual’ e.g. dress, photographer, flowers, transport and lastly ‘desires’. Then you could prioritise within each section.
I don’t know your situation but is their a friend/family member who can help? Or even a website. I didn’t mention the honeymoon because I know some people aren’t too fussed - or they just upgrade their holiday.
My family on my mum’s side are all regular church goers, so my cousin hired the church hall for her reception. Friends & family of the bride & groom made ALL the food & it was an eclectic menu - Italian, Jamaican, Japanese & British:T The wedding cake was made by a friend as a wedding present, etc & I think it was one night in a nice hotel (kids stayed with grandparents) paid for by the families!
I don’t know 🤷!♀️ if this sort of thing is possible or even if you would like to go this route but I thought i’d Throw in my tuppence worth:)
Good luck
