BT price hike - I missed the 30 day limit to change

I have missed the 30 day limit to amend or leave BT after they e-mailed me of the price increase on 8th Nov 2017, BT today stated there would be a penalty of £176 if I left before the end of my contract in August. Is there anything I can do to get out of the BT contract early without a penalty (as I am now paying £33/mnth and Vodafone are offering £20/mnth for fibre broadband)

The get out free time has passed, so you are now governed by the usual T&Cs.0

Basically you have no leverage as you are in contract until August .0
