I don't know how I could have been any more helpful considering I had literally provided both the name of the relevant 'NEWBIES' thread and a hyperlink to take you straight to the FAQ.PercyPenguin wrote: »A simple answer would be preferred - I don't know where to find newbie faqs.
Your aggressive reply is unhelpful.Nonetheless, the NEWBIES FAQ is in the '**NEWBIES!! PRIVATE PARKING TICKET? OLD OR NEW? **READ THESE FAQS FIRST!** Thankyou!' sticky thread located on this forum. I have hyperlinked this for you here: NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1.
The 'aggressive' tone was justified. You've derailed someone else's thread for your own personal matters. Us regular members do not condone this type of behaviour simply because it's not fair on the OP and also makes the thread confusing to follow. It's the equivalent of cutting a queue to interrupt someone who's seeking assistance; it's rude. That said, try not to take criticism so personally; it was constructive criticism, where I even provided advice - use a laptop/pc as it's easier to navigate the website. I'm glad you found the Newbies thread and if you need assistance on your case feel free to make your own thread and we'll help.0 -
When you start your own new thread, believe me, you'll be pleased that we have an unofficial (but helpful) policy of stopping lost newbies from posting all over other people's cases & signposting them instead, to the NEWBIES advice thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
