  • This month is a wash out. We both got ill two weeks ago, still both ill. We have that nasty virus that has been going around, thought we were going to not get it but it finally got us!
    Anyway OH was the one shopping and he forgot to give me the recipes each time and we have looked for them with no luck. I am sure we were over budget but no idea how much.
    Will do better in March.
    I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy :D

    Spent about £14.98 today on bread, pizza and some other bits and bobs in Morrisons.

    Turns out this was the spend and it had been added, and i added too much. So, i can knock 16p off today's spend of £2.49; to total £2.33

    Grand total is £181.51 of £270.00 .... so i am £88.49 under :j:eek: I think this is the first time i have been under by so much in all the years i have been doing this. Hopefully i can try and stick to this sort of budget more often. Probably 20% of it we could have done without too!

    Over to March .....
    GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £89.90/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. One person vegan household with occasional visitors)

    £8.50 last min spend (at 10.40pm!:eek:) as we realised the snow was actually coming (normally misses) so snuck out amongst the flurries to get 2x milk, loaf and natural yogurt & ham!
    So, that brings my total to £328.96/£300 :eek::(

  • Morning all, My final tally is £340.36 out of £340 budget so 36p over. Not too bad, ended up spending a little more over the half term on food for lunches plus little extra due to the weather. But these extras will be carried over to March so should help keep March to budget.
    Debt busting start date 08/08/18 - total debt £33,222.32 :eek::eek: Debt now £31,352.56 - Paid £1,869.76 - 5.63% @ 05/10/2018

    Wrapping Feb £40 over although technically as dog food not yet delivered, put on credit card too, not so bad.

    Do I need it or just want it.
  • I think I may be the last person declaring for February. Work has taken me away from the boards the past week or so.

    I'm declaring February as €250.44 / €450 and 15 / 10 NSDs! I think I'm even prouder about the amount of NSDs than the final total itself. I'm trying to get better about not entirely shopping as a hobby / boredom and using up my stores.

    I'll update my sig and see you all on the March boards! :beer:
