I currently have £4.79 left in my February budget. This has to cover me for bread and milk tomorrow, so I'm almost spot on and pretty pleased with that.0

That leaves me with £51.30 altogether as a bulk fund, just from leftovers from two months. Pretty chuffed with myself!Start mortgage date: August 2022; Start mortgage amount: £240,999; Original mortgage free date: August 2056

Out of my £475 target I have spent £468.47 so £6.53 under. I'm going to reduce my budget by £1 a day for next month..... pleased with what we've achieved though, it's definitely making a difference keeping a list of what I've spent as I ask myself if I really need to buy it...Sealed pot challenge - 12 - #0040

I had a tesco delivery today which came to £40.30. I'd ordered lots of lovely fresh fruit and some salad bits as we have guests coming on Friday for the weekend. The only problem is that pretty much all the fresh stuff is really short-dated i.e runs out tomorrow or the next day. Now I'm happy to ignore the dates but I just hope it actually lasts and am annoyed because no-one would eat all their fresh stuff in 2 days. I'm going to email them about it as it's rubbish.
Declaring at £96.69/£100 - whoop!0 -

I TOO had a Tesco delivery. Must be the first in years. Anyhow, the driver is heavy breathing down my intercom. I go downstairs (to help of course), and it's quite an old guy, really out of breath. Must of had about 3in of snow on his hat. I felt so sorry for him. I take the majority of shopping off him, and leave him with a few light bits. Carry it up, and give him a big tip (really not that big), as he looked so disheartened with life, he was so thrilled. Some people are just so nice and grateful. Anyway, I only really needed toilet rolls, but was not wanting to slip-slide in the snow, so bought some other (really not needed) bits. It came to £43.62. £23 was on alcohol, a litre of vodka and something else, which I will run through my my Brita a dozen times, to turn into 'creme de la top notch' and then make into plum liqueur for Easter. #EatThePlums. Have updated relevant (bulk buy) sigs. Keep warm everyone. x0 -
Another month, another budget blown, and just a miserable 7 NSDs.
£53.26/£40
How could I have got it so wrong??! Well, a shocking £12.67 of this went on chocolate, biscuits and pastries    £9.90 went on enough muesli to last me until the end of the year so that's forgivable I suppose :AValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
