Horizon parking ANPR PCN help

Yes it is.0 -
My friend is in a similar boat, just received a anpr PNC from Horizon for seemingly over staying 14mins 2 days before Christmas... Clearly spent too long shopping spending money in the retailers.
I've read through the newbie FAQs and kudos because those are thorough, but still no idea whether my friend should:
A. Ignore the letter and await letters from debt collector, which should be ignored or
B. Appeal the PNC at this stage.
Can someone clear this up for me so my less tech savvy friend can obtain the right advice?0 -
What's unclear about the template appeal in the NEWBIES thread followed by the clear advice to then do a POPLA appeal (3rd post of the same sticky)?
And even more pressingly what's unclear about me saying ALWAYS COMPLAIN TO THE RETAILERS/LANDOWNER FIRST?
Has your friend exhausted that route to cancellation within minutes by a Store manager?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

But you need to start your own thread.
Not too sure where you got the idea "Ignore the letter and await letters from debt collector" from. No-one has suggested ignoring PCNs for over six years now.0 -
Please don't hijack threads belonging to other posters (especially ones almost 12 months old), please get him/her to start a new thread of his/her own for bespoke advice - he/she won't get it on this thread.I've read through the newbie FAQs and kudos because those are thorough, but still no idea whether my friend should:

Can someone clear this up for me so my less tech savvy friend can obtain the right advice? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hey apologies I didn't meant to cause any offence to the admins due to my confusion re query and thread creation.
I thought I read we weren't to start new threads if there was a similar one.
I've started a new thread and I realised I forgot to mention we're in Scotland I know this makes a difference.0 -
It means you ignore ignore ignore, as its Scotland.0
