Which means you should've had money left over from the previous month.

  • Comms is right. If that person could budget they'd simply have put the money aside for 10 days and 'paid' themselves the money on their normal payday.

    What about?

If you cant budget and you accept that, and the employer pays you early and you spend it, fair enough.

But you cant have it both ways.

Excuse me? I am more than capable of budgeting that you very much, I merely stated that I found this month a stretch because I was paid 10 days earlier than normal in the month.

If your good at budgeting then it makes no difference if your paid early or not. You should have still had money left over from the previous payday and wouldn't have needed to touch the money paid in December until the usual day you are paid.

It is true, given that I have some DD's coming out of my bank on the 16th & I was paid on the 15th Dec & wont be paid again until the 25th Jane, it means that the DD's coming out on the 16th occur twice in one pay period.

Edit: If I can have 12 months worth of DD's paid in advance it wouldn't be an issue.

So this proves your really poor at budgeting because you should have had the money left over from November payday to pay all the December DD as usual.

Also why would you need to pay your DD's in advanced if your paid a year in advanced. Anyone who can budget could easily spread the money out over the year to make sure they had enough for DD's each month.
