Switching providers for Business telephones & Broadband

I am looking to switch providers for our telephones and broadband for our company and have been inundated with sales calls from various wholesale companies all offering different packages but ultimately all claiming to be up to 60% cheaper than BT. After a little research I know that BT are only responsible for billing as it is Openreach, now a completely seperate company that provide all the services. So nothing will actually change by switching billing companies other than where our bills come from. With that in mind I have narrowed it down to 2 possible alternatives to BT; The Calls Warehouse, and UK Wholsale Direct. I have searched through reviews of both companies and as usual there are 5* reviews and 1* star reviews for both, but you never know how genuine these are. Has anybody switched to either company and if so what are your experiences with them?

The situation you describe with Openreach providing the end to end service and everyone else re-billing is not correct. Openreach provide the wires to the premises, but once at the exchange, providers can choose to route and deliver calls and also how they deliver broadband in a variety of ways. T

Before you switch are you out of contract .
As it is a business service double check your T&C .
Any new service beware how long you may be locked in for as that's the frequent complaint .

Hi David,

I would seriously look at these guys, UK Communications Services (Google Them), I was looking for exactly the same as you and I stumbled across them, the above about Openreach is right they just supply the wires in the UK however what I found with all the major companies is that they are so big the service drops I.e. spending ages on the phone etc and speaking to the right people can take ages - with these guys you get a dedicated account manager for the lifetime of your contract.
