And do you know for a fact that the radiator hasn't been damaged by a stone...?

Answer the question - are you going to ignore the warning message?

How would to verify whether it’s correct or not?

yes i know theres nothing wrong with the radiator (i looked over the car when i was dealing with the coolant, checking for leaks and such like).

are you trying to tell me that everyone (not just me) should be cheking their cars constantly.

Yes, any car owner should be able to do the basic checks on the car and not just rely on the computer, particularly your tyres. I do, however as a BMW driver myself, realise there are somethings you physically can't always check yourself, eg, oil level.

That won't tell you. I've had leaks that have only shown when you look in EXACTLY the right place in exactly the right light - because they only leak when there's sufficient pressure and temperature to be escaping as steam.

A pressure test is the only thing that will say for sure.

What does your owner's handbook say about checking fluid levels...?

Omitting a dipstick is simple stupidity.

How would you check the oil level if you think the sensors are giving s spurious reading?

I'm glad we cleared that up

give it to BMW (but I don't think the cars giving me bad readings, it was giving me a correct reading)

It is. Sensors are very nice, but they're not 100% reliable like a dipstick is.
