Pregnancy - Flight Refund

Hi,
Was wondering if someone could help. My wife and I planned a short break to Spain for June 2018. We booked our flights with Easyjet in Oct 2017. Then at beginning of November, we received the fantastic news that my wife was pregnant with Baby Number 2!
By the time we were due to fly my wife would be 35 Weeks and upon our return we would be 36 weeks. We hence would not be allowed to fly back as my wife would be at the cut-off of 36 weeks. Plus she is a high risk pregnancy due to previous medical history, so pretty sure no doctor would give her any special dispensation to fly.
Can I expect Easyjet to refund us our money for the flights? We are not able to rebook earlier in the year and wont be in a position to book future flights. Do we have any rights to expect Easyjet to refund us?
Thanks

No rights but it doesn't hurt to ask. I would strongly suspect they'll decline though. You can ask for a refund of APD which easyJet will refund without applying an admin fee.0

easyJet flights are very easily changed, just go into your booking and follow the steps, you can change the dates and the destination.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
